I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the ball bearings included in my purchase - about 100 of them, no less! It's clear that the manufacturer prioritized performance over price. I've been using these little guys for years on various Tamiya models, and they consistently deliver a smooth ride. The MIG set itself is top-notch, but it's the tiny details like this that make me love it even more.

Great little balls. A pair will see you right: chuck them in, give them a shake, they do the business. Their size and material make them suitable for casual use. They are perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking or biking. Their durability is impressive, withstanding rough handling without significant damage.

I've found that using high-quality paint containers helps prevent oxidation - something basic science dictates, after all. To take advantage of this, I use 5mm low carbon ball bearings in my Vallejo and Tamiya paints when the bottles or jars aren't empty, which prevents rust from forming as a necessary starting point for the oxidizing process.

While it may seem counterintuitive to spend more money on stainless steel bearings, they are indeed more durable than their affordable counterparts. I've invested in some expensive stainless steel bearings just in case mine do rust when paint levels are low - an unnecessary expense if you don't plan on using them frequently.

I've opted for 2 bearings in my Tamiya glass jars and the same amount in my Vallejo bottles to ensure thorough coverage, given their relatively small size. These tiny containers have proven to be reliable, with no instances of shattering due to shaking or pressure.

Some people might consider purchasing cheaper stainless steel bearings from China as a cost-effective option - however, I suspect they may not be genuine high-quality materials at these prices. Nevertheless, it's worth taking the risk and waiting for them to arrive if you're unsure about their authenticity.
