Our stains can be used straight out of the bottle, with the mnimum of prep (just sand the unfinished body smooth) and applied with a lint free cloth or sponge appliator. 2 coats tends to be enough for a deep rich finish, but addtional coats can be applied if you're looking for a deeper colour.
